About
the Authors F.N.Can Şımga-Muğan, is currently a professor of accountancy at Middle East Technical University, Department of Business Administration. She teaches financial and managerial accounting both at graduate and undergraduate levels. She received her Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and B.S. from İstanbul University. She has published various articles in international journals such as the European Accounting Review, the European Journal of Finance, Accounting Education, Russian and East European Finance and Trade, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Business Ethics, Innovations in Education & Teaching International and the International Journal of Accounting Research, and book chapters. She has also published in Hacettepe İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Dergisi, Muhasebe Enstitüsü Dergisi, Muhasebe Bilim Dünyası among others. She has also participated as an organizer, presenter and/or discussant at several international and national seminars.
Nazlı Hoşal-Akman, SMMM is currently an instructor at Bilkent University teaching financial and managerial accounting. She received her Ph.D. from Baskent University in 2009. After receiving her B.S., she worked at Arthur Andersen for seven years and left the company as Ankara Office Audit manager. She also worked for a private company as Accounting and Finance Manager for 3 years. She joined Faculty of Business Administration as a part-time instructor in 1996 and full-time instructor in 2001. She has published in International Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation, J. Global Business Advancement,International Journal of Managerial and Financial Accounting, and Innovations in Education & Teaching International and book chapters. She has participated in various international and national workshops and seminars as an organizer, participant, instructor and presenter. |
